The downstream bromine market fell slightly, and the quotation fell from 62857.14 yuan / ton last weekend to 59714.29 yuan / ton this weekend, down 5.00%, up 80.35% year-on-year compared with the same period last year. The downstream formic acid market rose slightly. The quotation rose from 4200.00 yuan / ton at the beginning of the week to 4233.33 yuan / ton at the end of the week, an increase of 0.79%, up 84.06% year-on-year compared with the same period last year. The downstream markets rose and fell with each other. On the whole, the upstream and downstream products have a positive impact on the price of sulfuric acid this week.

Market outlook rose slightly

In late December, the domestic sulfuric acid market mainly rose slightly. The upstream sulfur market has stopped falling and rebounded recently, and the cost support is good. Although the downstream bromine market has been falling, the downstream formic acid market has risen this week. Downstream customers have good enthusiasm for purchasing sulfuric acid, and the product trend is upward under the contradiction between supply and demand. Sulfuric acid analysts of business society believe that under the influence of supply and demand and raw materials in the short-term domestic sulfuric acid market, the market price of sulfuric acid may rise slightly.

Key points of analysis: according to the data monitoring chart of business society, on December 16, the main PVC contract 2205 closed at 8124, down 0.51%, and the spot market continued to decline. The average domestic spot price of pvc5 was 8540 yuan / ton, down 0.35% compared with the previous day. The reduction range of enterprises was not large, and some enterprises remained stable and wait-and-see. In the off-season of demand, the market trading was relatively flat, and the mentality of operators was negative.

Forecast: PVC prices are expected to continue to weaken in the short term.

The latest p value price of ethylene glycol on December 15 is 5000 yuan / ton.

In terms of inventory, as of December 13, the total inventory of ethylene glycol in the main ports of East China was 621000 tons, a decrease of 0500 tons or 0.08% compared with last Monday, and an increase of 11900 tons or 1.95% compared with last Thursday.

On December 14, the spot price of ethylene glycol in East China market was 4927.5 yuan / ton, up 30 yuan / ton compared with the previous trading day and 31.5 yuan / ton compared with last week.

Recently, the ship’s offer was around 655 US dollars / ton, the delivery was around 650 US dollars / ton, and the negotiation was about 650 US dollars / ton or slightly above.
